G-Squared Opens Auburn Office (October 1, 2011)
G Squared, a photogrammetry engineering firm, announces that it has opened a branch office located at 1685 E. University Drive in Auburn, Alabama. This office will be managed by J. Keith Maxwell, PE, PLS, CFM, who has performed Professional Civil Engineering, Land Surveying and Floodplain Management services for the general public for more than 25 years. He will also serve as G-Squared’s Survey Manager. Mr. Maxwell graduated with a Master of Civil Engineering from Auburn University and is a licensed Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor (Alabama PE&LS 17262, Georgia PE 35820).
G-Squared Principal Lindsey Galyen stated, “Our main office is located in the Huntsville Suburban Area which is the technological think tank of the scientific and engineering community of the Southeastern United States. The Auburn office adds a second strategic location from which we can serve our many Alabama clients. As we move into the next generation of technology, we feel the quality of personnel available from Auburn University and the surrounding professional community will offer significant benefits for G-Squared’s clients. I am especially pleased to announce that Keith Maxwell will manage the Auburn office. He has conducted the geodesy and field survey operations for G-Squared the past 12 years, and has a close relationship to both our existing clients and the professional community we serve.”
G Squared performs aerial photography, airborne and ground GPS survey, digital orthophotography, topographic mapping, image processing and GIS for clients throughout the southeastern United States. Clients include engineering firms, counties, municipalities, airports, utilities, universities, and the Tennessee Department of Transportation. G-Squared was founded in Huntsville in 1999, is an Alabama Limited Liability Company, and is in its 12th year of operation.
